3 I will call upon the Lord, which is worthy to be [a]praised: so shall I be safe from mine enemies.
4 [b]The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of wickedness made me afraid.
5 The [c]sorrows of the grave have compassed me about: the snares of death overtook me.
